Everyone knows that the population on earth is at a all-time high,or in other words, never ever has the earth been weighed down so much. One very interesting human trait is people being concerned about what others think about their work.(In the country from which i hail from,India, this is a very common and eerie trait).
This kind of thought process is a BIG DOWNER-Don't do this. When i went to Germany and landed in Frankfurt for the first time,i was so surprised how 'unconcerned'(would write 'cold' but that's rude)the people were.I was shuffling around my bags to take out my laptop and created a ruckus and no one seemed to bother ,much to my amazement.(In India, anything out of the ways of society is scorned, even ridiculing a person who spat on your car).Germany-the people were all busy and most of them were dressed in formal black clothing(like in a black and white film),and some women from Cologne who spent a month in India were the only ones dressed in colour(ANOMALY).So,no one seemed to care about what you did,you could shout "Bratwurst is for ****" and no one would care.
Then, there was this thing about 'tunnel vision',a term psychologists use to describe tunnel-narrowed vision resulting from concentration.I wasn't ever used to reading books on public transport because my friends would ridicule anyone who did so,another common trait on Indian college buses. And in Germany, everyone was reading something or the other, there were people reading murder mysteries, some reading magazines with pictures of naked women(so open)!,there were people playing around with their Kindle and it was AWESOME!!Finally,a book haven. And all this was a result of people not being concerned about what others were doing.Just a small psychological trait that separated the Indians from the Germans and this resulted in freedom.AMAZING RIGHT??
I carry this sense of freedom still and everytime i hear someone with a insulting comment behind my back,i retort(in my head of course) with the phrase,"Well,i don't give a S**t".
So,start doing what you love, don't bother about the outcome, don't bother about the 'boo's',its all part of the game and soon you'll realize your'e so neck deep in concentration that your'e brain will function like a well oiled machine(with no loose nuts to break it off).
